Updates -

… after the big earthquake…

During the last few weeks I got involved in three wonderful ensembles.

On April 2, 2011, there was a rehearsal with the Nagoya City University Orchestra. We did Dvorak: 8th Symphony, and Smetana: Vysehrad and Vltava (Moldau) from Ma Vlast.

The next day (April 3) I had a rehearsal of a really good children's choir: Forum 21 in Ichinomiya-city We did two short tree-part songs plus one of Michael Haydn's masses for soloists, children's chorus and orchestra.

Finally, last weekend (April 9/10), I attended a couple of rehearsals for this year's Tokyo Cantat choral festival - ended up being invited to sing in the brilliant Ensemble PVD, a fine chamber choir of about 25 members, conducted by Hiroki Fujii. That is an honor, as you can only enter on personal invitation by Mr. Fujii himself.
