Music during the last few weeks - 過去数週間の音楽活動

Just another update on some of my musical activities during the last couple of weeks:

Of course, there was Kantorei's summerconcert, very well received. I think it was the best performance of this choir so far; all a-capella-pieces, German, Latin, Japanese and definitely another step forward.

Then I sang some Lieder from Schumann's Liederkreis op. 24 (Heine) at "Neue Klänge". There was also discussion about these and some other pieces. It is always fun to work with my pianist, Michiko Toyama.

Oh, the Jazz gig was great. 

Also, I went to Ichinomiya again to have a (very hot, without air-con!) rehearsal with Forum 21. We rehearsed Michael Haydns 'Anima Mea' and Rheinbergers Mass op. 126, wonderful piece! Performance will be next March. I'm looking forward to some intensive work during the choir's three days of rehearsal in August.

いくつか報告します。

まずカントライの夏期公演がありました。同合唱団の過去の公演の中ではベストのパフォーマンスだったと思います。ドイツ語の他、ラテン語、日本語の全てアカペラの作品を演奏しました。難易度は高かったですが、今後につながる良い練習ができたと思います。

 

それからドイツ歌曲研究会ノイエクレンゲのイベントで、シューマンのリーダークライスop.24（ハインリッヒ・ハイネ）から数曲歌いました。伴奏者は今回も當山通子さんでした。

ほぼ同時期にジャズのライブもありました。久しぶりで楽しかったです。

そして先週は、フォーラム21少年少女合唱団のリハーサルのために、再び愛知県一宮市へ。

ミヒャエル・ハイドンの「アニマメア」とラインベルガーのミサ曲op. 126を練習しました。

素晴らしい作品です。来年の春に公演する予定です。来月の合宿が楽しみです。
